Who Should Join?
You! Each parent and each extended family member are strongly encouraged to join. Memberships are individual (not family). Show even more support by asking a grandparent, relative, friend, neighbor or employer to join, too!
How much is membership?
Membership is only $8 ($9 online) and is good for the entire year! Imagine paying such a little amount and getting so much! PTA puts it in a general fund and gets school programs up and running.
Why should I become a member of the PTA?
The most important reason is to support your child(ren), their education, and the total school experience. In addition to that, you’re also supporting the local, state and national PTA that acts on behalf of children and families. Now, more than ever, having a strong voice is vital to PTA’s efforts in advocating for children’s educational needs.
Do I have to attend meetings or take time off to volunteer?
No! Although you are warmly invited to all PTA general meetings, we understand that you are busy. Joining simply means you believe in and support Rosedell’s PTA goals and voice.
